Rwanda offers Visa on Arrival for all nationalities at official ports of entry; African Union, Commonwealth and La Francophonie members receive free 30-day visas.
Rwanda offers Visa on Arrival for citizens of all countries at all official ports of entry, including Kigali International Airport. Citizens of African Union, Commonwealth and La Francophonie member states receive free 30-day visas; other travellers may obtain single-entry visas for a fee.
Entry requirements
- A valid passport with at least six months' validity recommended
- At least one blank page for stamps
- Compliance with applicable health entry requirements (a Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate is required for travellers from transmission-risk countries)
Attendees may apply in advance via the Government of Rwanda's e-services portal (irembo.gov.rw). The Events Team provides official Visa Invitation Letters after registration on request.
