2026 NNN Conference

The 17th annual NNN Conference takes place in Kigali, Rwanda, from 29 September to 1 October 2026 — the annual gathering of the global NTD NGO community.

The conference explores four interconnected sub-themes:

  • Community Leadership Through Rights-Based, Country-Owned Action
  • Mental Health, Stigma, and People-Centred Care Across Generations
  • Innovation, Data, and Community-Adapted Technologies
  • Integration, Cross-Sectoral Action, and Development Pathways

Early-bird registration is open through 30 June 2026, with virtual attendance available. The organising team provides dedicated support for delegates from countries facing visa or administrative challenges to ensure inclusive participation.

Registration

The 2026 NNN Conference will be held in person at the Kigali Marriott Hotel, Kigali, Rwanda, with live streaming for virtual delegates.

Fees

  • Early-bird (until 30 June): Group 1 (LMIC) £370 in-person; Group 2 (HIC) £500 in-person
  • Regular (from 1 July): Group 1 £460; Group 2 £590
  • Virtual delegates: £155

Eligibility groups are based on the UN Human Development Report ratings. 30% discounted tickets are available for LMIC participants via application. Virtual access includes livestreams, Q&A, and recordings. Cancellation refunds are allowed up to two weeks prior (minus a 10% fee).

Travel

Kigali, Rwanda's capital, sits across rolling hills and has established itself as a host destination for regional and international meetings.

Getting here: Kigali International Airport provides direct connections across Africa, Europe and the Middle East. Airport transfers to the city centre take approximately 20–30 minutes, with taxis, hotel transfers and ride-hailing services available.

Getting around: The city features a reliable road network, with taxis and services like Bolt widely accessible.

Weather: A mild tropical highland climate; pleasant daytime temperatures year-round and cooler evenings. Lightweight clothing with a light jacket and rain protection is recommended.

Venue & Accommodation

The conference takes place at the Kigali Marriott Hotel, KN 3 Ave, Kigali, Rwanda.

Room types include Classic rooms with single or double occupancy. Delegates book through the designated reservation link; the booking cutoff is 12 August 2026. Daily tea, coffee and a buffet lunch are included throughout the conference.

Visas

Rwanda offers Visa on Arrival for citizens of all countries at all official ports of entry, including Kigali International Airport. Citizens of African Union, Commonwealth and La Francophonie member states receive free 30-day visas; other travellers may obtain single-entry visas for a fee.

Entry requirements

  • A valid passport with at least six months' validity recommended
  • At least one blank page for stamps
  • Compliance with applicable health entry requirements (a Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate is required for travellers from transmission-risk countries)

Attendees may apply in advance via the Government of Rwanda's e-services portal (irembo.gov.rw). The Events Team provides official Visa Invitation Letters after registration on request.
