How We Work — A Blueprint for Action

The NTD NGO Network is a pivotal global forum bringing together diverse organisations — including academic and research bodies — to tackle disease-specific NTDs and cross-cutting challenges while amplifying affected communities' perspectives.

NNN's distinctive approach centres on implementation science — how to translate research into practice, scale innovations equitably, and share lessons from country-based programmes. This differentiates the network from forums that prioritise basic-science discovery.

Our vision is a world free of NTDs, pursued through authentic inclusion, evidence-based advocacy, and innovative collaboration. Two core objectives guide the network: presenting unified advocacy on common NTD issues in collaboration with the WHO and health ministries, and strengthening the community of practice through inclusive membership engagement and knowledge sharing grounded in lived experience.

The 2026–2030 strategic framework rests on three values: widening participation, especially from affected-country organisations; open knowledge exchange through convening without replacing members' work; and authentic leadership from smaller organisations, affected persons, and youth.
