Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM): The LSTM has been involved in the study of infectious diseases in the tropics with an outstanding record of achievement in the areas of NTD research and capacity building for over a century. These achievements include descriptions of basic parasite and vector biology, drug development, support of country health programmes, technical assistance to global initiatives, evidence based strengthening and other interventions that will reduce the burden of NTDs.
